Frequently Asked Questions

How do I submit my wedding or engagement photos?
We’re always looking for new couples to feature in our Look Books! Just shoot us an email that includes these details:

  • the couple’s first names
  • where the wedding/engagement session took place
  • the date and the photographer’s name
  • your name and business if you’re another type of wedding vendor
  • a link to the photos on a website (or attach a few to the email)

Please keep in mind that we work directly with the photographer to get photos, so it’s OK if the couple doesn’t own image rights.

Are you on social media?
Yes! Find us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter and check out our Pinterest boards.

How often do you update the Wedding Guides?
They’re given a thorough update each year, but we’re adding new vendors and details all the time.

How can a vendor be added to a Wedding Guide?
Simply email us the vendor’s name and contact information and we’ll take it from there.

How  much does it cost to be in a Wedding Guide?
The Wedding Guides are a free service we provide. They’re meant to hook up local couples with vendors that fit their needs.

Who is your sponsor?

By the end of high school, Ellie Martin Cliffe was completely enamored of journalism, so she chose the most logical college major possible: anthropology. Disappointed by the minimal emphasis on writing and editing, she changed tracks and earned a comm degree from Carroll College. Ellie has since tackled many facets of the field including books, magazines and the Web at places like The Knot and Reader's Digest. She now works full time in book publishing, and is thrilled to get her wedding fix with WedInMilwaukee.com. When she isn’t wielding her (red) pen, Ellie can be found in the garden, at any concert that showcases a fiddle, playing pub trivia or in the kitchen. She and her husband live in Riverwest with their hedgehog, Guinness, and grapefruit tree, Sprout.

Good morning! I’m curious if you work with guest bloggers and how I could be one if you do. Thank you so much and I’m looking forward to hearing back!
