You saw their adorable engagement shoot, featuring the one and only Jax, a happy pup with one blue eye and one brown, who carried Megan’s engagement ring around his neck for the surprise proposal. Now it’s time to witness the couple’s beautiful wedding.

“Matt and I are perfect opposites,” Megan said. “I’m good at talking, he’s good at listening.”

A perfect combo when it comes to wedding planning, if you ask me. The couple knew immediately that they wanted to have their reception at Lakefront Brewery because of the cream city-brick and relaxed feeling. Megan also chose to stay at the Ambassador Hotel the night before the wedding; the perfect location for their wedding-day first look.

“I was a little hesitant about doing a first look,” Megan said. “But in the end, I’m so happy we did it. It was so amazing to have that little moment with just Matt.”

In between the ceremony and reception, in addition to the usual wedding-day photos, the wedding party made a stop at Wolski’s, Megan’s late father’s favorite place for a celebration. She knows it’s what he would have wanted.

To add another special element to their day, Megan surprised Matt by having three of the infamous Brewers Racing Sausages come to the reception to dance and hang out.

“Matt is a huge Brewers fan and I knew it would be a great surprise. It turned out better than I expected!” Megan said. “Seeing him so excited and happy made it all so great.”
