It’s not every day that you get to play dress up. But that’s exactly what happened when Melissa Bucci, owner of Bucci’s Bridal, asked me to be a part of their style shoot at one of Milwaukee’s newest wedding venues – Rustic Manor 1848.

The job? Try on some of Bucci’s newest dresses in a gorgeous setting. Lets just say I may have jumped with joy when I said yes. Since I got married last November, it was the perfect chance to try on wedding dresses one last time. The best part? My husband could join me.

Let me tell you – if you haven’t been to Bucci’s Bridal, one of the newest bridal shops in the Greater Milwaukee area, you have to check it out. The boutique bridal salon is filled with gorgeous dresses, decorated with chandeliers and sparkly wallpaper, and Melissa is as nice as can be.

For the style shoot we headed to Rustic Manor 1848 – one of Milwaukee’s newest wedding venues. Located in south central Wisconsin, Rustic Manor 1848 is perfectly placed on 12 acres of wooded trails and meadows. If you’re looking for a rustic barn venue near Milwaukee, this might be the gem you’ve been waiting for. Renovations are currently underway at Rustic Manor. The venue will include, among other things:

• 5,900 square feet that can host over 300 guests
• Bridal and Groom Quarters
• Handicap accessible restrooms
• 24 foot hand crafter bar
• Hay loft
• Deck overlooking the countryside

With limited options for barn venues around Milwaukee, dates at Rustic Manor are booking through 2015 already.
