We couldn’t wait to share this beautiful wedding, after sharing Jen & Matt’s engagement session. For their wedding, the couple chose to stand out with bold colors and muted tones that would create a romantic and beautiful evening.

“We had looked all over downtown Milwaukee for a venue and couldn’t find something that felt like us or that was available prior to late fall,” Jen said. “The second we walked in to the room at the Gold Mast, we just knew it was the perfect place for us and it worked out perfectly.”

Jen & Matt had a family friend preside over their ceremony which made it a memorable and special day for the couple. Jen remembers tearing up just before saying her vows and says, “I remember asking for a moment before I started, because I knew that all that I really wanted to do that day was to audibly tell my husband that I would love him for the rest of his life.”

For Matt, one of his favorite parts of the day was a surprise Jen had waiting for him at the altar.

“I wasn’t really a ring guy,” Matt said. “So after going shopping for rings for me, we picked out one that I thought I liked. Later on, I found one that I fell in love with and Jen surprised me at the altar with it.”

Both Jen and Matt agree that having organized vendors made their wedding day as perfect as could be.

“The day went well because of how organized and prepared our vendors were,” Matt said. “But the day will always be special to me because I got to marry my best friend who has shown me what unconditional love is.”
