If you’re a bride on a budget (who isn’t?), you may want to check out one of the newest event planners in the Milwaukee-area. Purely Events launched January 1, 2015, and offers full event planning, as well as month of coordination.

Two childhood best friends started the planning business. They hope to reach not only the wedding market, but private parties (think engagement and bachelorette parties), as well as galas and fundraisers.

“We want to target the practical couples who may not think they can afford to work with a planner, but sill need some guidance,” Alison Cefalu-Schmelzer, co-owner of Purely Events said. “I come from a non-profit background, and I truly know how to stretch a dollar!”
