When Ryan took Sarah to Turner Hall, she had no idea her life was about to change. After all, Ryan is a restoration contractor and when he said he had to check on some interior damage in the space due to the summer rains, Sarah expected nothing out of the ordinary. So when she walked inside to see rose petals scattered on the floor and turned around to see Ryan on one knee, her heart melted as she said “yes.”

It was the same exact spot the couple had first met; when in a Cinderella moment, he stopped Sarah to ask for her number at the end of a New Year’s Eve party. The rest is history.

The couple is getting married at the Irish Barn in Whistling Straits this September, with a classy, rustic and natural setting.

“There are many great out of the ordinary venues, vendors and ideas for Milwaukee weddings,” Sarah said. “Take the time to search out some of these places and do something unique to you and your fiance. Planning a wedding is emotional; do everything to enjoy it.”
